You need to show a full and valid driving license in order to rent a vehicle. Provisional driving licenses are not accepted for the rental. For countries outside the E.U. you will need to have an international driving license with you, as well as your own driving license. For scooters/motorcycles you need to have a motorcycle license. If you are not sure if your license will be accepted please contact us.

You have to have held your license for at least one year for most vehicles. For some special vehicles the requirement is more, please ask us if you are not sure.

You need to be 21 years of age for renting vehicles in the basic categories. Some special vehicles have an age requirement of 30 years.

There is no kilometer restriction. During your rental you are free to drive as much as you want to.

You are not allowed to travel outside of Mykonos. Exceptions can be made in rare cases and you will have to get a written consent from us before travelling.

We offer a fair fuel policy. Simply return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it had when you received it and you won’t be charged anything extra. Returning the vehicle with more fuel is not refunded.

Once you pick up the car, the representative at the rental desk will advice you what fuel type is required for the car. Usually there is an indication at the petrol cap as well.

All cars, scooters and A.T.Vs are insured with third party insurance according to Greek law.

You can add extra protection by including Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.) at an extra daily cost. The C.D.W. insurance comes with an excess amount. Simply click the “Additional Insurance Cover – C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver)” that will show up during the booking process or ask your rental agent to add it when picking up your vehicle.

“Excess” is the amount you are liable for in case of Damage or theft of the vehicle (when Collision Damage Waiver is included in your booking).

The excess amount is calculated depending on vehicle type and make and will be informed before the rental. Typically the excess amount starts from 300€ for vehicles in basic categories (excluding local VAT) up to 2000€ for larger vehicles.

Yes, and you can even add extra protection after your rental has started and simply pay the difference for the remaining rental period.

You can choose not to add any extra protection before the rental but once the rental has started any extra insurance can not be removed or refunded.

In case of accident, call the emergency number of the car rental company, which is indicated on the rental agreement you got when you picked up the car. The representative will advice you what you have to do. It is important not to take responsibility or sign anything until an authorized person has arrived (from First).

You don’t, you can call us at any time on spot and ask about availability and offers. It is however strongly recommended to plan ahead to make sure the desired vehicle is available and to be sure to get the best rate possible.

Booking with us means actually talking to a real live person and not an automated computer system. If you wish to make any changes simply send us an e-mail or call and we’ll arrange it.

Yes, of course. Simply let us know on beforehand that you want to keep the vehicle for longer.

You can always cancel up to 72 hours before the rental starts, free of charge and get a refund for whatever prepayment you have made. When cancelling after the 72 h period prior to rental start your prepaid amount will not be refunded.

When booking your vehicle online you have to pay a small amount of the total in order to confirm the reservation. This can be paid via PayPal (all major cards accepted) or through a bank transfer. The remaining amount should be paid once picking up the vehicle. You can pay the remaining amount by cash, Mastercard, Maestro or VISA. (AMEX and Diners is not accepted unfortunately.)

You can rent with a debit card as well. Please contact us for more information.

Yes, a deposit will be pre-authorized on your credit card for security and refunded automatically after the rental (may take up to 2 weeks since this is an automatic process by the bank). The deposit is usually the same amount as the excess on the vehicle.

You will have to pay for your rental (this includes any extra insurance).

The cost depends on the distance/time you wish to travel. Why don`t you ask for us for an offer?

If the car does not have a GPS included you can simply let us know at the time of the booking that you wish to have one under “ADDITIONAL COMMENTS”.

You don´t have to inform us on beforehand to add an additional driver. Just make sure the additional driver has a valid driving license.

Let us know at the time of the booking how many car seats you need and for what ages.

Helmets are a must and of course we will lend them to you free of charge. If there is anything else you can think of that you might need just go ahead and ask us.

Anywhere! Our three rental offices are in Platis Gialos and if you are staying nearby you could just swing by and pick up your vehicle. You can have your car delivered to where you are staying  and you can also opt to pick up your car at the airport or the port and have one of our representatives meet you there with the “meet&greet” service. Scooters and A.T.Vs should be picked up at one of our offices but we will come and pick you up anywhere!

Sure! As long as there is availability you can pick up the vehicle earlier than planned.

Check it

Walk around the car and look inside, checking for damage. If you find any, ask the car hire company agent to mark it on your rental agreement. Take pictures so you can be confident about what the car was like to start with.

Once everyone’s safely strapped in, take a minute to adjust the mirrors, move the seat, find reverse and check where the indicators are.
